Commencement of the postal service in Nepal

It was during unification of different principalities into Nepuil that Kmg Prithvinarayan Shah commenced the postal service by commisumng a trend to carry postal items in between a 55 km distuACed Dutuihoi- Makwanpur and in between Lamjung-Nuwakot with a distunce af 15 km in 1818.
